Casey Bailey Signs A One-Year, Two-Way Contract

BINGHAMTON, NY – The Ottawa Senators have signed forward Casey Bailey to a one-year, two-way contract. The contract will carry an annual value of $874,125 in the National Hockey League and $70,000 in the American Hockey League.

A native of Anchorage, AK, Bailey was acquired by the Senators on February 9 from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Following the trade he played in 30 games with Binghamton, scoring seven goals and adding 14 assists for 21 points. In his first full professional season, Bailey played 68 AHL games between the Toronto Marlies and the Binghamton Senators. He scored 11 goals and added 28 assists for 39 points.

Bailey, undrafted, played three years at Penn State University. In 96 career games at Penn State, he registered 80 points (45 goals, 35 assists) and 91 penalty minutes. Prior to Penn State, Bailey put up 60 points in as many games for the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey league.
