Canisius and RIT Men’s Hockey Win Thrillers

Admin  · 10 hrs  · Canisius scored five unanswered goals to rally from a 4-1 deficit and defeat AIC 6-5 in Atlantic Hockey Association action Friday. Graduate student Austin Alger and sophomore Max Kouznetsov scored two goals each while graduate student Joey Matthews and junior Daniel DiGrande accounted for the other two Canisius tallies.

Defenseman Dan Willett scored with less than five minutes remaining in regulation to give RIT a 5-4 win at Princeton in a back-and-forth affair that featured four lead changes. Jake Hamacher, Kobe Walker (PP), Nick Bruce (PP) and Wil Calverly scored the other goals for the Tigers.
