HOW IT HAPPENED:
Emily DeCock (Ramara, ON/Patrick Fogarty) opened the scoring just 5:55 into the game when she deflected the initial shot from Rachel Lenard (Orchard Park, NY/Nardin) past the goalie for her first goal of the season. Lenard and Kromer picked up assists on the play.

Buffalo State doubled its lead late in the second frame as Erin Gehen (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) flipped a pass across net to a crashing Ruggiero who found the back of the net. Gehen and Kromer recorded assists.
The Bengals finished off its scoring as Ruggiero scored an empty net goal for her fourth of the season. Megan Reukauf (Depew, NY/Lancaster) picked up her first assist of the season on the play and Natasha Steinle (Morrison, CO/CIH Academy (ON)) added her sixth assist.
