The Buffalo Stars youth hockey organization is set to host a major Midget Showcase event the weekend of October 28-30.

The Eastern Junior Elite Prospects League Buffalo Showcase will be held October 28-30 at the Holiday Twin Rinks in Cheektowaga, NY. This 30 game event will feature midget aged boys (15-18 year old) teams from Florida, Virginia, Carolina, Pennsylvania and New York.

“We hope this will become both a decently scouted event as well as an annual event for Buffalo” stated Buffalo Stars CEO/Chairman Pete Preteroti.

The Buffalo Stars joined the EJEPL this season with our Midget U16 team. “We hope to add U15 and U18 teams in this league next season” added Stars President Gretchen Mullen.

Games will be played next Friday between 10am and 10pm. Action continues on Saturday 8am to 10pm and once again Sunday 7:30am to 3:30pm.

The EJEPL was created to prepare players to become the Junior, Prep School and College recruits of the future. Many of the owners of top Junior and Prep programs and AAA organizations regularly scout the EJEPL and its 75 partner organizations.
