Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex announced today plans to host a charity hockey game to benefit the Muscular Dystrphy Association.
The game being dubbed Fire on Ice will take place on March 1st at 5:00pm and will feature the Rochester Fire Department versus the Syracuse Fire Department.
Tickets are not bring sold for the event, however donations at the door are recommended. Other fundraising efforts will take place during the event, such as a 50/50 raffle.
It is the 60th Anniversary of IAFF and MDA partnership to find a cure for neuromuscular disease. Firefighters have been tirelessly striving to help MDA enhance the lives of children and adults who are affected by neuromuscular diseases cover by MDA’s comprehensive medical services and research programs.
