BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators beat the St. John’s IceCaps 2-1 in their first meeting in consecutive nights.

Both teams were held scoreless in the first period with the home team leading shots on goal 12-6.

Chris Carlisle gave Binghamton the 1-0 lead 3:46 into the second period after he backhanded a rebound past Zachary Fucale for his fourth strike of the year. Brandon McNally stuffed the puck past the B-Sens Chris Driedger to even the game 1-1 less than six minutes later. Casey Bailey scored his first goal in a Binghamton uniform to regain the 2-1 lead with less than eight minutes to play in the frame. The B-Sens skated to the final intermission break with their one-goal lead intact despite being outshot 11-9 over the period.

Binghamton managed to hold the IceCaps to secure the 2-1 lead despite being outshot 14-3 in the final frame.

The B-Sens and IceCaps have a rematch tomorrow night at 7:05p.m. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the B-Sens Executive Office on Saturday from 8:00a.m. – the game’s second intermission.
