“Amerks All-Access” Receives Two Telly Awards

(Rochester, NY) – The Rochester Americans video series “Amerks All-Access” has earned two 2016 Telly Awards for its episode titled, “Why We Play.”

The episode garnered a Bronze People’s Telly in the Online Video Category, which was voted on by the internet community, and a Bronze Online Video Telly Award in the Sports Category, which was judged by the Telly Award Council.

Amerks All-Access is a video series that takes fans behind the scenes and provides an in-depth look at the Amerks organization by featuring exclusive footage and interviews with players, coaches, fans and community members. The award-winning episode on “Why We Play” included in-depth interviews with Justin Bailey, Matt Ellis, Patrick Kaleta and Randy Cunneyworth about why they chose to follow their lifelong passion for the game of hockey and pursue it as a career.

The prestigious Telly Awards, now in its 37th year, honors the very best film and video productions, groundbreaking online video content and outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs.
