DELAWARE 2, UNION 1 Box Score

Newark, Del. – Freshmen Katie Belk (Otonabee, Ont.) and Lily Myers (Crystal Lake, Ill.) scored goals and sophomore Charlotte Payne (Oakville, Ont.) turned aside 46 of 47 Union shots as Delaware posted a 2-1 victory on Friday.

The win – the first in program history against an ECAC Hockey opponent – improves the Blue Hens to 2-4-1 on the season and equals the team’s win total in last year’s inaugural season in just the seventh game of 2026-27. Delaware hands Union its first loss after a 4-0-0 start.

The teams traded power-play goals in the first period. From there Payne stopped all 31 shots she faced in the second and third periods, while Myers broke through for her second of the season 8:49 into the second.

BROWN 6, RIT 1 Box Score

Rochester, N.Y. – RIT scored on the first shift of the game but the second and third periods went heavily in Brown’s favor, as the Bears posted a 6-1 win in their first game of the season.

RIT’s Brac Kelley (Wilkes-Barre, Pa.) stripped the puck and scored unassisted to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead, her third goal of the year and third straight game with a point.

After the rest of the first was scoreless, Brown potted two goals in the second period and four in the third. Margot Norehad led the Bears with two goals and an assist, all in the third.

SYRACUSE 2, ROBERT MORRIS 1

Box Score

Moon Township, Pa. – Syracuse edged Robert Morris, 2-1, on the strength of Rylee McLeod’s (Grande Prairie, Alta.) third goal of the season midway through the second period.

Each team scored in the first, with Syracuse opening the scoring on the power play off the stick of Stella Costabile (Belmar, N.J.) at 8:30. Jessica MacKinnon (Clarks Harbour, N.S.) answered for Robert Morris and now has points in five straight games (four goals, four assists).

Two of the AHA’s most experienced goaltenders – Ava Drabyk (Saskatoon, Sask.) for Syracuse and Maggie Hatch (Cleveland Heights, Ohio) for Robert Morris – quieted the offenses from there. Syracuse won a one-goal conference game for the second week in a row and improved to 4-0-0 on Fridays this season.
