Attention High School Girls Hockey Players!
Cornerstone Arena in Lockport will host a new exciting women’s ice hockey showcase featuring the talent and growth of women’s hockey. The event will be held September 18 through 20 at the arena in Lockport.
Women’s collegiate club programs from across the country will compete. Teams confirmed are Army, Lawrence Technical University, Miami (Ohio) University, Niagara University, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), University of Alaska, University of Pittsburgh and West Virginia University.
The weekend continues with the USA Hockey Sanctioned High School Girls Prospect Showcase providing aspiring student-athletes with an opportunity to compete in front of representatives from the eight colleges mentioned above.
The Women’s High School Prospects Showcase will provide high school ice hockey players a chance to showcase their skills and compete in front of college coaches on Saturday, September 19. Registration is open but limited to 36 skaters and 4 goaltenders. Registration is $40 per player.
