B-Sens Sign Jack Rodewald To Pro Tryout Contract

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators, American Hockey League affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Ottawa Senators, announced today that the club has signed forward Jack Rodewald to a professional tryout contract.

Rodewald has played six games for the B-Sens’ ECHL affiliate, the Wichita Thunder, and recorded eight points (five goals, three assists) and two penalty minutes. The native of Winnipeg, Manitoba has 16 regular season games and two assists under his belt with the Toronto Marlies.

Prior to his professional career, the 6-foot-2, 188-pound right winger played five seasons for the Western Hockey League’s Regina Pats and Moose Jaw Warriors. Rodewald appeared in 255 games in the WHL and accumulated 76 goals and 90 assists.

The B-Sens return home tomorrow and Saturday for Military Appreciation Weekend against Providence and Springfield. Following the game on Saturday, fans can enjoy a postgame skate along with a specialty jersey auction. Binghamton will be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit Wounded Warriors.
