ROCHESTER, NY – Fifteen players from the Nazareth College Women’s Hockey team were honored this week by the United Collegiate Hockey Conference for academic excellence.
For All-Academic consideration, member schools submit the names of players who meet the conference’s eligibility criteria. To be eligible, a player must have completed at least one academic year at their current institution, while holding a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 for all terms of the stipulated 2020-21 academic year.
The academic award winners from Nazareth were juniors Anibella Barona, Delaney Carle, Gabriella DeMeo, Elie Fallieras, Noelle Giroux, Stephanie Kubis, Abbey Luth, Hailey Redders, Keeley Rose and Nikolle VanStralen; sophomores Ali Fujiyoshi and Ally Watrous as well as freshmen Kate Cascio, McKinley Hoff and Julia Holmes.
