RIT’s Drackett Is Goalie of the Month

ROCHESTER, NY – Junior goalie Logan Drackett (Calgary, Alberta/Calgary Canucks) was named Atlantic Hockey and Hockey Commissioner’s Association Goaltender of the Month for the month of October.

Drackett led RIT to a 5-1-0 record in October, including two shutouts, a win over a ranked opponent and two Atlantic Hockey road wins. He finished the month leading Division I with a 1.17 goals against average and a .966 save percentage. Drackett finished tied for the lead nationally with two shutouts and was tied for second with five wins.

Drackett began the month with wins at Colgate and against No. 17 Bowling Green at the Ice Breaker Tournament in Toledo, Ohio. He had three-straight 30-save efforts, including 31 saves against No. 12 Ohio State at the Ice Breaker Tournament championship, and recorded shutout wins against Merrimack and Air Force.

Drackett was the Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week three times in October, including back-to-back weeks at the end of the month.
