Rochester American Warriors HockeyOver the last 20 months, NewEdge Hockey Development Academy has provided over $16,000.00 in donations, volunteered time, training, and supplies to our great hockey community! We are pleased to announce that we will be volunteering our training services for one of the best programs around!

The Rochester American Warriors Hockey (RAWH) program is a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing an educational and developmental hockey program for Veterans.

RAWH MissionRochester American Warrior Hockey aims to provide a recreational hockey team for military veterans, active military, reserves, and their family members in Rochester, New York. Rochester American Warrior Hockey was created to strengthen veteran community engagement and provide veteran camaraderie supporting a return to civilian life.

The program educates, trains, motivates and encourages individuals who have served in any branch of the Armed Forces as well those with physical or mental disabilities incurred during service to the United States, to participate in the sport of ice hockey in an environment that is adapted to the level of ability of the participating athlete.

The program also assists veterans and their families to promote awareness of challenges our veterans face and to encourage team building. The program uses the game of hockey to build camaraderie and a sense of community, as well as a connection to the community that supports them.

In addition, it assists veterans in developing self-confidence and to assist in helping participants back into a lifestyle that will help the individual be more successful both within and outside a hockey environment.

Please consider helping our veterans by visiting the link below and making a tax deductible donation to the RAWH program. Please contact us directly if you have any gently used ice hockey equipment that you would like to provide to members of the program in need of assistance.

We are also always seeking volunteers to help facilitate team practices during scheduled ice times. Please contact us if you are interested.
