ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior Terra Lanteigne (Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia/Charles P. Allen) was named the College Hockey America (CHA) Goaltender of the Week while freshman forward Jaymee Nolan (Dublin, Ontario/London Devilettes) was voted Rookie of the Week following the Tigers’ sweep of visiting Sacred Heart last week.

Lanteigne made 24 saves in Friday’s 3-2 OT comeback victory, shutting out the Pioneers over the final 27:17 of play as the Tigers made up a two-goal, third-period deficit. Lanteigne also stopped all 19 shots she faced in a 3-0 shutout on Saturday for her fourth-straight victory.

Nolan scored the game-tying goal with 3:05 left in regulation before winning a face-off in the Pioneer zone to directly setup the overtime game-winning goal in Friday’s win. She also tallied the Tigers’ first two goals on Saturday, opening the scoring 2:51 into the second period before intercepting a Sacred Heart clear to score unassisted 4:47 into the third period. She leads RIT with nine goals and has scored at least one goal in the squad’s last four games (all victories).

RIT (8-10-2, 1-5-0 CHA) hosts Robert Morris this Friday and Saturday (Jan. 10-11) in CHA play. Friday’s game will face-off at 2:00 p.m. while Saturday’s contest is slated for a 12:00 p.m. start at the Polisseni Center.
