Plattsburgh State Women’s Hockey To Host NCAA Quarterfinals

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA has announced its eight-team Division III Women’s Ice Hockey Tournament with the Plattsburgh State women’s hockey team hosting St. Thomas (Minn.) in the NCAA Quarterfinals Saturday, March 14 at 3 p.m. at the Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena.

The complete bracket for the 2015 NCAA Division III Women’s Ice Hockey Tournament was released Monday morning featuring three other quarterfinal matchups which include Norwich at Middlebury, Lake Forest at Wisconsin River-Falls and Trinity (Conn.) at Elmira. All four quarterfinal games will take place this weekend with the winners advancing to the NCAA Semifinals set for Friday, March 20.

Plattsburgh State enters the tournament with a 23-2-2 overall record and fresh off of its third-consecutive ECAC West title. It’s the fourth-straight NCAA appearance for the Cardinals and 11th overall.

All tickets will be going on sale at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, exactly an hour and a half before puck drop. Tickets will be $6 for general admission and $4 for college students with a valid ID.
