Colgate’s Audi Recognized by ECAC

ALBANY, N.Y. – After a weekend sweep at St. Lawrence and Clarkson, Emilio Audi was given Colgate’s first weekly honor from ECAC Hockey as he was named rookie of the week.

 

Audi tallied three points on a goal and two assists in a weekend sweep of the Saints and Golden Knights for the Raiders. He had an assist against the Saints and then recorded a season-high two points against Clarkson, including the first goal of a third period comeback that featured three goals. Audi had the assist on the first goal of the game. He finished with a plus/minus rating of +2 on the weekend.

 

He has four points in his last five games played with two goals and two assists. Audi’s four points is tied with Andrew Black and Jake Kulevich for the team lead among rookies.

 

Colgate has won four of their last five and is now tied for third in ECAC Hockey with a 4-2-0 record and moved back to .500 overall with a 6-6-1 mark. The Raiders have scored three or more goals in the four wins. Colgate scored nine goals over the weekend and swept two ranked opponents.

 

The Raiders are back in action against No. 9 Yale on Friday night, followed by Brown on Saturdaynight. On Friday against the Bulldogs, Colgate hockey is hosting Youth Day. Children under the age of 14 who wear a hockey jersey get FREE admission. Players will sign autographs after the game as well.
