Buffalo, NY Native Patrick Kane Named To NHL’s Top 100 All-Time Player List

Patrick Kane has been named to the NHL’s Top 100 List of All-Time Players. The announcement came as part of the NHL’s 100 Year Celebration being celebrated in Los Angeles, CA at the NHL’s Al-Star Game festivities.

 

The 28 year-old Chicago Blackhawks right winger was born in Buffalo, NY. He was the first overall pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Blackhawks.

 

Kane has won three Stanley Cup Championships as a member of the Blackhawks including 2010, 2013 and 2015. He won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player of the playoffs in 2013.

 

The WNY native won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s MVP and the Art Ross Trophy as scoring champion in the 2015-16 season. Kane, who led the league with 106 points (46 points and 60 assists), is the first American-born player to win the Art Ross Trophy as the league’s scoring leader and the first American-born player to win the Hart Trophy.

 

Kane has also represented the United States at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics.
