Ainslie businesses promote local communities for children event

Brumbies Bakery enjoyed meeting with their community
By Judy Elton
The World’s Biggest Playgroup was held ‘in the park’ throughout Australia on 28th March. Playgroup Associations organised the events to celebrate National Playgroup Week. Wakefield Gardens near the Ainslie shops saw over three hundred small children with their Mums, Dads and Grandparents converge to enjoy wonderful play activities. Ainslie businesses helped promote the event with notices in their windows. Manuel and his staff at Ainslie IGA are well known for supporting their local community and promoted the event by circulating flyers to families with young children. Erin and the ‘Bread Man’ from the Brumbies Bakery had fun participating throughout the morning and gave away show bags which included a voucher for free bread. Promotion from Ainslie shops resulted in enquiries about joining playgroups from many of their customers.
