Niagara U Men’s Hockey Places 17 On AHC All-Academic Team

HAVERHILL, Mass. – The Niagara University hockey team placed 17 student-athletes on the record-setting Atlantic Hockey Conference All-Academic Team announced Wednesday.

Robert Angiolella, Devin Campbell, Matt Chiarantano, Matt Dineen, Nick Farmer, Keegan Harper, Sean King, Dan Kolenda, Niko Kovachis, Ryan Kuhn, Tanner Lomsnes, Joe O’Brien, Kevin Patterson, Chris Paulin, Stephen Pietrobon, Sam Rennaker and Guillaume Therien represented the Purple Eagles.

In its 13th year of existence, Atlantic Hockey has continued its high standard in the class­room for student-athletes, as a record 209 student-athletes have earned a spot on the Atlantic Hockey Conference All-Academic Team. To qualify for the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team, an individual must post a 3.0 GPA or better in all academic semesters in which his team was actively competing.
