Sect VI Championship Game Summary:

Kenmore/Grand Island got off to a fast start as Emily King scores 1:01 into the game off a pass from Taylor Story. 5 minutes later Olivia Smith got her 1st of the game on the power play to stake the defending champs to a 2-0 lead after 1. Story and Grace Simmons assisting.

In the 2nd there was a lot of back and forth action until Lina Mirabella, who has a history of some huge game winners, score with 2:43 to play late in the 2nd from a sharp angle to end the period with Ken/GI Leading 3-0. Olivia Smith with the assist.

After an ice cut to the 3rd. For Frontier/Orchard Park, Haley Tatar scored 1:43 into the 3rd assists to Jessica Peters and Sirena Fitzery. Less than 3 minutes later, Riley Johnson got credit for a goal with assist to Karley Baker to bring the score to 3-2 in Favor of Kenmore/Grand Island, but with 2:50 left to play Olivia Smith scored her 2nd of the game to ice it for Kenmore. Jenna House with the assist.
