Lockport, which led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Syracuse and clinched a 5-3 victory.

Lockport led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Lockport’s Jordan Pocobello scored at 19:52 in the first period to put Lockport up 3-0.

Christopher Gasiewicz had one goal and two assists to lead Lockport. Gasiewicz scored 39 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lockport. Ryan Logar provided the assist.

In a losing effort, Syracuse was paced by Hunter Soden, who finished with two goals. Soden scored the first of his two goals at 6:42 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Lockport. Lockport stifled Syracuse’s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
